Larissa Sansour and Shahpour Pouyan will participate in the first edition of the Yinchuan Biennale entitled For an Image, Faster Than Light held at the Museum of Contemporary Art Yinchuan (MOCA Yinchuan), China. Curated by internationally acclaimed artist, curator and co-founder of Kochi-Muziris Biennale, Bose Krishnamachari, the exhibition will be held from 9 September until 18 December, 2016.
The inaugural edition will present works by 80 international artists representing all facets of the global spectrum and from various regions, working on contemporary issues that the world has to contend with. Sansour will exhibit her award-winning sci-fi short In the Future They Ate From the Finest Porcelain (2015) and Pouyan will present an installation. Read more.
