Larissa Sansour . Main Lobby . 2012
Larissa Sansour will participate in the second edition of the Festivale Cine Palestine, which opens on 23 May and runs until 5 June, 2016 in Paris and in the Deparment of Seine-Saint-Denis, France. The festival aims to promote the richness of the Palestinian cinema and at supporting a new generation of Palestinian artists of flourishing creativity.
Sansour will exhibit her 2012 video work Nation Estate, which explores a vertical solution to Palestinian statehood. In the film, Palestinians have their state in the form of a single skyscraper: the Nation Estate, a colossal high-rise that houses the entire population - now finally living the high life.
