Larissa Sansour will participate in the group exhibition entitled Ingrediens, curated by Lilibeth Cuenca Rasmussen, held at Varbergs Konsthall, Sweden, opening on 21 May and running until 4 September, 2016.
The exhibition features works by eight contemporary Danish artists of varying generations including: Thomas Bang, Maiken Bent, Jens Haaning, Kirsten Justesen, Jacob Kirkegaard, Ragnhild May and Lilibeth Cuenca Rasmussen alongside Sansour. The body is the central premise of the exhibition: the physical, the body politic which highlights some of the current conflicts, the staged, represented mythological body, the fragmented body and the lack of body.
Sansour will exhibit her latest sci-fi short, In the Future They Ate From the Finest Porcelain (2015).
