Abbas takes part in the group exhibition Global Control and Censorship at Galeria Arsenal in Bialystok, which opens on 26 January 2018.
For a long time, the possibility of using digital tools has raised hopes for new forms of democratic participation, but has recently been abused as a perfect instrument for surveillance of millions of people. Democratic states have long usurped the right to spy on even their own "friends" in all possible fields: military, economic or social, and at all levels - both governments, institutions, non-governmental organizations and individual citizens are under the microscope.
The exhibition continues until 1 March 2018.
