Driss Ouadahi at CAB Contemporary Art, Brussels

Ouadahi will participate in the group exhibition titled PERPETUAL CONSTRUCTION, A dialogue with the house of Jean Prouvé III opening on 6 September at CAB Contemporart Art Centre in Brussels, Belgium.

The exhibition is conceived as an urban construction site. Drawing parallels to the climate of reconstruction in which Jean Prouvé’s Demountable House 6×6 originated, this exhibition reflects on the cyclic sequential processes of construction; deconstruction and reconstruction. Applied to the urban fabric, the artists explore how the byproducts of contemporary consumption can be repurposed and how deconstruction can give way to new beginnings. The city as a self-organizing chaotic biotope.

The exhibition continues until 9 December 2017. Read more.
