Nathaniel Rackowe at Contemporary Sculpture Fulmer, Buckinghamshire

Rackowe partiicpates in Contemporary Sculpture Fulmer, an annual exhibition of contemporary sculpture, curated by the William Benington Gallery, in the private gardens of the Buckinghamshire village of Fulmer, outside of West London. The exhibition opens on 20 May  and continues until 6 August 2017.

For the inaugural exhibition the William Benington Gallery has selected a diverse and vibrant group of artists who work in a broad range of media. Each sculptor is exploring the idea of sculpture within their own practice, and bringing to it a new approach that acknowledges the history of the discipline while driving it forward into new territories. Several of the artists are making work in response to the gardens or making site-specific installations.

Rackowe presents a work from his CS series, a large-scale light sculpture composed of steel, fluorescent light and PVC corrugated roofing sheets. Read more.
