Asad Faulwell, Nadia Kaabi-Linke and Yazan Khalili have been shortlisted for The Sovereign Middle East and North Africa Art Prize (MENA Prize). The Prize aims to benefit mid-career artists by increasing their international profile and by providing income for short-listed finalists, while also raising funds for START; a non-profit organisation running art therapy-based workshops for refugees and children with special needs across the MENA region.
Finalists will participate in a group exhibition that opens on the 13th of October and runs until the 17th at Warehouse 46 in Alserkal Avenue. Their works will be auctioned in Dubai on 19 October. Faulwell will be presenting Les Femmes D'Alger #62, Kaabi-Linke will present a work entitled K and Khalili will present The Day We Saw Nothing In Front of Us 3.
