Shahpour Pouyan participates in the Jameel Prize 4 group exhibition organised by the Victoria and Albert Museum, London in partnership with Art Jameel and in collaboration with the Pera Museum, Istanbul Turkey that opens on 8 June and runs until 14 August, 2016.
The exhibition features diverse works thats range from delicate paper collages to an animated video installation with marionettes and from ceramics, calligraphy and sculpture to artists's books.
A panel of judges, chaired by V&A Director, Martin Roth, selected the shortlist of artists and designers, that include David Chalmers Alesworth, Rasheed Araeen, Lara Assouad, CANAN, Cevdet Erek, Sahand Hesamiyan, Lucia Koch, Ghulam Mohammad, Shahpour Pouyan, Wael Shawky and Bahia Shehab.
The winner of the prize will be announced in the first week of June, 2016. Read more
