Miracle of Winter represents a mountain that I have seen in Iran and in other countries around the world. The cascading waterfall has been frozen in ice, and resembles a huge crystal statue, which to me is a miracle. Water is a repeated motif in my work, I portray it in the form of fountains, waterfalls and oceans to highlight the main beating source of life. Other than the feeling of almost supernatural power, I am drawn to nature for its aesthetic beauty. The natural colours, which lie within bring themselves naturally to my canvases. In Miracle of Winter the cold blue tones make the waterfall almost tactile.
