A lady offers a cool drink to the poet, from Prince Baysunghur's Rose Garden (Gulistan) by Sa`di. The poet recalled an extremely hot day in his youth, when he was walking down a street at noon, thirsty and weak. A beautiful woman came out of a house, and handed him an iced drink. Refreshed from his physical thirst, he found himself longing instead for the kind stranger.
