Three Sufi dancers, dressed respectively in green, red and blue robes- the three primary colours of light- whirl each in a separate field, viewed from above like free-formed circles The dancers eventually break through into each others’ fields, coming together yet not colliding. Dancing thus they they achieve a degree of concentration through their movements, which makes them forget weight and focus on attaining a higher state of consciousness. Three is a magic number and represents balance. Trough these timeless forms Nasr symbolically conveys the civil unrest and spirituality of Egypt in equilibrium and unity.
