Nadia Kaabi-Linke Takes Part in A Panel Discussion at the Akademie Der Künste, Berlin

Nadia Kaabi-Linke will take part in a panel discussion titled Localism, Universalisms and the Cultural Underpinnings of Understanding Art on Saturday, the 27th of May from 12 - 2 PM, at the Akademie Der Künste, Berlin. Johannes Odenthal (Director of Programming at the Academy of Arts) and Natasha Sadr-Haghighian join Kaabi-Linke in a discussion on pluriversal interpretations of art and the histories of modernity. Read more.

 

The discussion is part of a four-day programme of events organised by Arab Fund for Arts and Culturethe Akademie der Künste Berlin, and the artists Katharina Grosse and Nasan Tur, FLAX . The programme is intended as an Open Academy and includes lectures, panel discussions and workshops led by established artists and experts from the art world (gallerists, museum directors and representatives of cultural institutions from Europe and the MENA region) and networking opportunities, covering a number of questions that emerging artists have to grapple with.
